But some of them are either racing for points or helping out a team with its owner points like the #66 car or the #64 crew. Last week Earnhardt Jr. fired the driver in the #88 car and Shane Huffman could not race at Michigan so he hired Robby Gordon for one race. Maybe there should be a limit to drivers not there for a reason, but some of the other drivers are there to help out teammates, help out in owner points or help there owners with there sponsors.
Yes. The respective Truck Series drivers need to stay in the Truck Series, the respective Busch Series drivers need to stay in the Busch Series, and the respective Nextel Cup Series drivers need to stay in the Nextel Cup Series. I agree with what you said about owner points, which is one reason why I think NASCAR drivers should be able to race in other divisions to gain owner points for that owner, team, etc, but other than that, the drivers should stay in their respective divisions.

I can't believe I missed this thread for so long!

No, Cup drivers stay out. My answer is limit top 35 in Cup points to 5 Busch races per year. I just posted no monetary awards in another thread but...if they're limited to the # of races, the money wouldn't matter. Everyone says, "well there just aren't very many drivers available to come into Cup". It it because the Cup drivers are taking rides away from up-and-coming drivers? Yes yes and yes! Cup drivers, like someone also said (Moenemdown I think?), are taking away wins from the other Busch regulars. And taking money from the teams that really need it. Does Childress or Roush need money vs. Braun Racing?

Biffle made the comment after Friday's Busch race and his crash "Oh I don't know, inexperience..." Well, yeah, Biffle, because you aren't in Cup! Go back to your own series. And stay there.

Sorry, sore subject for me, these are my opinions only. I think I need a pill.
