That's a hard question for me. Nextel Cup drivers are passionate about racing Nextel Cup for sure, and racers will always be racers and NEVER want to lose. BUT most race in the busch series just to get more practice in on that track..
But i'm not sure that's it's fair to say no you can't because there are some true die hard passionate nascar drivers who love to race anything with wheels, and they are truly driving in the Busch series because they love to race. So it's really a tough call!
I think it's good that Nextel drivers are able to run in the Busch series. It gives the up and coming drivers a look at the competition in the higher ranks. Kind've a, to be the man, you gotta beat the man type of thing.

Agree with the "to be the man, you got to beat the man" but don't think the Cup guys should be allowed to race all the time. Maybe limit the number of races they can race in a season.
I don't think it is right that a Cup guy is able to win the Busch Championship. Let the Busch guys have some fun too.
Personally I think the Nextel drivers are racing in too many of the Busch Series races. They should limit their Busch schedule to 7 races a year or so. If the Nextel regulars weren`t running a full Busch Schedule maybe some of the Busch Regulars would have a chance at winning some of the races. So far this year only two Busch Regulars have won. That`s pretty sad.

Sure, Let them race but change the way that the points are awarded. Full time nextel drivers should not be awarded bush series points toward the champ. If a driver wants to go for the Bush trophy then they need to stay full time Bush another season.
How many other sports allow the top series players to move down into the lower series anytime they want to ? It is totally unfair to the Busch series drivers who are forced to take their cars home because a major leaguer wants some practice time.

That might not work as well as u think. Sometimes cup drivers have bad season and they might drive both series. A driver might be having a good year in Busch and a bad year in Cup. One day that cup driver might get fired and if they did then they would have the Busch Series to fall back on. If they cup drivers had no points givin to them, then some guys that would come back mid season would have nouthing to race for and it would be pointless to race with no points. Cup drivers are racers just like the Busch regulars. If they want to prove a point, then they should prove themselfs on the track. David Gilliland proved himself and he has a ride in the cup series now. I think if u cant beat them in Busch Series, then how the hell are you going to do any better in the Cup Series?
No. It is called the Busch Series, not the Nextel Cup Series. NASCAR needs to limit how many races the Nextel Cup drivers run in the Busch Series, because its not giving the Busch drivers a chance to win races and have a shot at the Busch Series championship, where a Nextel Cup driver will win the Busch Series championship this year in Kevin Harvick. I would limit the Nextel Cup drivers to only run 7 races in a Busch Series season, so it gives the Busch drivers a chance to see what Nextel Cup competition is like, and to give the Busch drivers a chance to win races and win the Busch Series championship.
well if ur saying that, then maybe Busch Drivers shouldnt come and race into cup series until they have a full ride. Most drivers they race usally end up wrecking and messing up the points for the full time Cup drivers. Maybe some Cup drivers shouldnt race if they dont have a reason to be there. But some of them are either racing for points or helping out a team with its owner points like the #66 car or the #64 crew. Last week Earnhardt Jr. fired the driver in the #88 car and Shane Huffman could not race at Michigan so he hired Robby Gordon for one race. Maybe there should be a limit to drivers not there for a reason, but some of the other drivers are there to help out teammates, help out in owner points or help there owners with there sponsors.
