Jeff's push....

Okay, we all saw Jeff push Matt. Dude, I am not a Kenseth fan, but I felt sorry for the cat when I saw his face as he was being shoved by the helmeted Gordon. And Jeff pushed him hard too. We will all find out tomorrow if he is issued a penalty for his post race actions. By the time most of ya'll read this post, the decision will have been handed down. So I wanna know: what do you think the punishment should be? A monetary fine? Points deduction? Nothing (it IS Bristol after all)?
I am torn...on one hand, I can totally understand where Jeff was coming from...his top ten turned into a top 25...ouch! But it was also on live tv. I think I am leaning toward no penalty tho...racing is racing, emotions get hot, and Bristol is the one place where all the drivers understand that.
What do ya'll think?

NascarSpace will become famous soon enough
Ya know as sad as this may sound.. I think they more they penalize, fine, and add rules the less this sport becomes what it's been.. What happened to rubbin is racing.. and your held responsible for what you do to others on the track.. the more they do this the more they become MOM and DAD the more Nascar changes, and the less it becomes nascar as we knew it..

Let boys be boys ya know?

Oh I agree wholeheartedly! I mean, I think it has taken something away from our sport when drivers aren't allowed to show their true emotions. That is what is so great about Nascar. It's real people, just like you and me. And having to watch every word you say, and every move you make would be so frustrating. personally I would like to see the guys be able to express themselves freely. I want to see the passion.
What about Martin Truex's crew chief? It's not his fault that the network put his comments to his driver on the air without making sure the s-bomb wasn't in it. Now he could get fined. I listen to the drivers during the races. Ya'll should have heard Kasey! He got seriously pissed at one point, and cussed like a sailor. I loved it. Raw emotion.
I say, if ya can't handle the heat, get outta the kitchen. Let me have my old school Nascar back!

He got held up about halfway through the race by the 95. I was picking up the living room, and I had the pc on with his radio playing, and crystal clear, we heard him go... f*ing 95 mother f*er! I about died. It cracked me up. Kenny Francis was all trying to calm him down. it's cool cuz Kasey is a laid back easy going guy, but you piss him off, and he'll let ya know about it. Like Louden last year with the Shrub. One of my favorite Nascar moments of all time.
