Arrow When Sparks Fly

Can anyone tell me the parts of a Cup car and Nationwide car that hit the pavement when going into a turn? During some of the night races you see sparks fly and I was wondering what parts hit the ground? And if you can please be as specific as possible, that would really help. I'm sure it's either the chassis or frame somewhere, but I don't know...

Thank you.

many times it is when the cars are in the corners...heavy breaking, and turning.... puts alot of load on the front passenger side of the car.. the lower control arms, front suspension parts, tie rods. etc.. sometimes when the tires are under low air pressure at the beginning of the runs it is worse, and goes away later in the run. I am sure flash can fill in the rest. lol hope that helps.

Yep bigE your right, the front swaybar and mounts due to their location are normaly the first thing to drag in the front. Alot of times at the Superspeedwaysand faster mile and a halfs with the springs now being run you also see the exhaust and truck arm mounts hitting back under the car.

I liked the F1 cars a few years back when they were running titanium chassis protectors they had sparks going all over the place even during the day, cool stuff, but dragging junk on the track sure aint the fastest way to go!!!
