hell, if the wing will lend to more side-by-side racing, then i'm all for it!
who is a fan of these current races at kansas, vegas, and the other cookie-cutter tracks, where its just single file, follow the leader all day long?

in all reality, this is only an issue cause it's "the car of tomorrow" and not just "NASCAR race car"
they could race around in Chevy Cobalts, Ford Focuses, and Dodge Neons for all i care, as long as there's a race on sunday!

If this was the 1950's, Jeff Gordon would be Pat Boone and Dale Jr. would be Elvis....both were great singers, but we know who had the most fans.

first off... if your gonna talk to me ... please talk in sentences not random blurbs.... i didn't say honda's suck... personally i dont like imports.. because i like domestics but... i was just saying how shitty an aluminum "bookshelf" spoiler looks on the back of a civic..... those spoilers are used for the ONLY purpose to add weight to the back of the car for rear wheel drive cars.. now please tell me WHY you would need weight for a front wheel drive car... if you had a civic and needed more weight to weigh down the axle you might as well put the wing on the front... nascar is a bit different... personally i think they look like a civic with a wing.. but hell if their bringing in Toyota.. i understand why they need an aluminum wing.... okay i'll shut up now lol

the rear wing is for downforce and creates drag......not really for weight cause it only weighs a couple pounds, not really significant.
FWD cars do benefit from it if they are purpose built track cars, i.e. SCCA Speed World Touring car racing

spoilers off the back in NASCAR now create downforce too... why put something that ugly on it... but it certainly doesn't help when your driving down the highway

i didnt say it helped on the highway
and the current spoiler obviously doesnt produce the downforce necessary for consistent side-by-side racing, if it did, they wouldnt be looking to change it
