here the biggest question in all of this

why would an inspecter look under the gas pedal? how do you even look under one on the floor of a racecar?

I would imagine someone would have had to have tipped them off. Just a guess.

NASCAR notifys teams after all cars have passed through Post-Race Tech which cars they would like to run on the chassis dyno which gives very little time to change anything on the cars, however teams know that when the cahssis dyno is there at the track NASCAR is going to use it. I,m sure the Toyota teams where prepard to be dynoed due to the talk of their HP versus other makes.
Those NASCAR inspectors are very thorough but they also get tips from fellow racers. You have to remember during race weekends cars/crews are literally shoulder to shoulder in the garages, very little goes unnoticed.

Tuesday afternoon should bring some interesting news.

I think Kerribear17 and I will be Ok, I,m concerned about MrsMopar12 and our other friends down on the west coast of Florida though. There talking about 2-3 foot storm surge, up to 20" of rain and of course 50-60 mph winds.
Put your waders on and find something to hold on to!!! Hope everyones safe. Heres a good friend of mines weather page very good and updated often.

Speaking of mrs. I talked to her today, she was at the grocery store stocking up so she could hunker down. She said she would call when Fay passes her. Said she thought they would get the winds of 60mph.
I am going to make a post for the lounge so everyone sees it

If it happens in the Nationwide series, wouldn't one think it would happen in the Cup series. Take one race for instance. Kyle Busch gets almost turned around and drops back to 37 position, several seconds off the lead. Fights his way all the way back to the top 15 before a caution. What track is this? Daytona. Why is this significant? He was out of the lead draft and ran them down without drafting help. How can 1 car do that alone? Open to your speculation.

Lol, miss me Honcho? I just realized this thread existed..... haha

And JGR doesn't need any defending, they got caught trying to manipulate the dyno but when I heard about it I burst out laughing cause I think it's hilarious. Some guys at Gibbs are just trying to prevent getting further punished for their success and I completely sympathize with their motives, although not their actions.

What Nascar is doing to the Toyotas in Nationwide is absurd. Punishing teams for their success is NOT the proper way to go about "leveling the playing field". If the playing field needs leveling, help out those that are on the bottom, don't punish those that are on the top! I'd draw parallels to the book I'm reading at the moment, Atlas Shrugged, but I doubt anyone would know what the heck I was talking about so I won't waste my time.... haha
