Robby to sell?

Robby to sell? hearing that Alex Gillett [George Gillett's son] has purchased Robby Gordon Motorsports [#7 Dodge] and will run it as a separate entity from Gillette-Evernham Motorsports. Plans are to eventually expand it to a multi-car team. Assuming Robby Gordon will stay on as driver...if this is true. Currently Gordon owns the team, but has a technological and marketing partnership with Gillett Evernham Motorsports and is 24th in driver/owners points.(3-10-2008)

If your gonna do that why not merge with GEM then you don't have to worry about making a 2nd team that might not make races join GEM and be the 4th team

Denied

Robby is denying that he is selling. He says he has a technical agreement and that's all he has. Maybe he had talked to Gillette about buying if he lost his appeal.
