Just curious as to how other Newman fans liked the Yellow (or was it orange or mustard) #12 Dodge. I kinda liked it. I think it needs some white and blue around the numbers to make them stand out more. What do you think?
She don't need nothing! She's absolutely gorgeous as she is!!! I love the red wheels too, they really set the whole look off! I also think that the red numbers outlined in black are adequate I was having trouble spotting my beloved #12 yesterday, I was getting her confused with the #29 of Kevin Harvick. The last third of the race I got to where I could really tell them apart. Ryan's #12 Kodak Dodge has richer move vivid colors than the #29. (the #29 is actually more of a gold than a yellow)
I have to say though, that I also love this new paint scheme too. The blue is such a beautiful shade! This is also the first paint scheme I got to see in person and watch race, so I think it might always be my favorite!

as funny as this sounds.. i have a ryan newman lunch box (bought last year at the race here) with the old colors... I LOVE the old blue... i also have the old 12 colors in t-shirts, and they are some of the best looking shirts in my collection... and, while we're on topic as far as colors... i gotta say as much as i love the 29 car and all of KHI... i really liked the old goodwrench colors and schemes... still seemed a tie to the 3... but change comes, i guess, and nothing remains the same.... :-)
Ahhh Mal, I am lusting after your lunch box and t-shirts! I also liked the old Alltel and Mobil 1 paint schemes too. Those paint schemes made it real easy to spot the #12 car on the track and they are real classy looking! But Ryan has run those paint schemes for 5+ years, so I guess it is time for a change!
I also agree with you about the 29 and the Goodwrench paint scheme, that will always be a classic!

Mrs, Thanks for the pictures. They are the first clear pictures of Ryan's car i've seen. You are right. It's a toss-up for me. I really like them both. I also had trouble finding him for most of the race. I stepped out of the room toward the end of the race; how did Ryan lose a fender? Any idea what color scheme for next week?

Montoya was in front of Ryan and something happened to his car, either a tire went down or something broke in the steering, but he came up on top of Ryan and cut the right front tire. Which caused the fender to rip off. The #12 Team (my heros) were able to do what they could do about the car in 3 consecutive pit stops and keeping Ryan on the lead lap! He then was able to come from 30th to 10th in 7 laps!! Way to drive it Ryan and good for the #12 Team for doing all they could to keep our beloved #12 in the race and a top 10 finish! Whoo~Hoo!
