Maybe I'm wrong. Tony's background was dirt track racing (that's where he started) I found that out through the grapevine when I got into Nascar (which has been fairly recent 3 years ago) I know there was one BIG line up to see him @ a sporting goods store (Carabello's(?) in Harrisburg Pa area last year. People actually camped out overnight. (they were into local dirt track racing)It's no secret Tony's 1st love is dirt track. It's hard to imagine him not jumping into one of his own cars and flying around the track.

You are correct. Tony is a Dirt Track lover. I've been to his track in Eldora and it's a really nice track!!

He was at Bass Pro Shops at the Harrisburg East Mall. Yep, you betcha, I was there. Got a glimps of him but didn't stand in line. It was NUTZ!!

I had an easier time at Eldora getting an autograph from him and Scott Bloomquist when they were just haning out in the pits.

You're not wrong. Tony's background is dirt. What I was poking fun at is the difference between the cars Tony used to drive and Outlaw sprint cars that you referred to. If you are into that sorta thing (dirt track racing) there is a huge difference between the two.

Well there goes Smoke to Haas. My Boss just came to tell me its a official Tony's done with Joe Gibbs end of season.

You wouldn't expect me to change would ya BigE? That's how I roll, trying to up the quality of the board or maybe that happened when I went on hiatus.
