Another Rumor is going around that Tony wants to leave JGR after this season. Rumor is that he's in talks with RCR to drive a fourth cup car in 08. He was asked about this rumor on his radio show and he didn't deny it only saying "I can't comment on it right now".
If this is true then I guess the Nascar fans will be proud of him for sticking with Chevy.

Wow.... if that actually happens, i might respect the man.
Right now i would'nt walk across the street to pee in his ear if his brain was on fire.
I really hope that happens, it would be good for the sport and good for the sports fans.
It's not impossible but I can't imagine giving up a top 35 in owner points car for one that isn't. That and I don't want to have to cheer for him should he move to RCR.

Where did you read this Stewart Fan?
I can't find anything about it on the www at all. Here's what Jayski says:
JGR will switch from Chevy to Toyota in 2008. Stewart is signed thru 2009 as is Home Depot and both are working on extensions. Zipadelli is supposedly signed to long term deal. No other known changes for 2008..

It seems like there is a lot of fan backlash over the Toyota issue. Maybe making a move (if he able) would be better for him and help him keep more fans? I'm not sure.
