I'd say they will lighten his wallet a bit, and be minus a few points. I hate that they will do that, but thats the way things go.
Oh well, he was just being Tony. Thats why I'm a Tony fan(although I liked him better whe he was punching reporters in the mouth ) , he is himself... unlike others that take on a whole different persona when the cameras are near. Ain't in since in being prim and proper all the time. If someone is worried about hearing the aforementioned 's' bomb then they need to invest in a set of ear plugs before leaving home
Tony Stewart is both an immensely talented race car driver and a graceless twit. Along with all those trophies, he must also give car owner Joe Gibbs stomach cramps.
Stewart dropped a BS-bomb on live TV Sunday after his thrilling win at the Brickyard, and then takes his cute little niece and nephew on his lap to circle the speedway in the back of a convertible waving and smiling at the huge Indianapolis Motor Speedway crowd.
Bi-polar Tony is walking testimony for the necessity of anti-depressant drugs. His big following of NASCAR fans who are fed up with blow-dried corporately correct spokes-drivers aren't going to like it when NASCAR fines Stewart and docks him points next week.
Although he hasn't assaulted anyone that I've heard about lately, the anger management classes apparently are just barely working for Tony. Two wins in a row means the warm-weather driver has finally kicked his game into top gear. The guy is great on greasy tracks. And in two victory circle interviews in a row Stewart has told off a television interviewer. This wasn't even he same interviewer as at Chicagoland, but Stewart still snapped at a mention of how hard it must be to climb the fence. Both times, Stewart took it as a personal affront and spewed about how "the media" makes a big deal of things. Both times Stewart felt it was important to let the nation know he hadn't seen the pit reporter who was interviewing him climb a fence.
Let's take a second to study Tony's on-off switch personality. He makes mean. He makes nice. He blames someone else. In his own book, Stewart minimizes his tantrums by saying he's just too honest, and explains away assaultive behavior as "I'm not the easiest guy to interview."
On Sunday, he bumped his close friend Kevin Harvick in a dramatic pass for the lead, then tells everyone after the race that he really respects Harvick -- knowing that Harvick was steaming mad. Then, Tony turns on the nearest reporter.
Meanwhile, his close friend was saying, "He's the first one to complain about not getting room on the race track and he's the first one to not give any."
I wonder if we will see Smoke driving for Harvick in Busch any more this season? Harvick implied Stewart deliberately wrecked his aerodynamics by caving in his left front fender during the initial pass. That swerving bump when Harvick attempted a cross over pass was Harvick aiming at Stewart's left front fender to even up the aero-disadvantage. Harvick missed. Havick also got called to "the trailer" by NASCAR after the race for the hard donut he planted on Stewart's right side door during the cool-down lap.
I suspect Harvick will cool down too and realize he won't find a more talented driver for this spare Busch car. The Volcanic One is talented enough on the track to have always escaped the troubles his temper gets him into. Just like Joe Gibbs and sponsor Home Depot, Harvick will swallow hard and put up with winning trophies that have a little less luster because Stewart can't keep from whizzing on them.

It isn't on youtube yet, but I will post it if I find it. He said it after climbing the fence
Stewart's 'BS' slip UPDATE: yes #20-Tony Stewart said 'BS' in his post race interview on ESPN [Cable..not network], NO word when/if Stewart will be fined and/or penalized by NASCAR, in 2004, Dale Earnhardt Jr. was penalized for dropping the 'S' bomb on network [NBC] TV after winning and was fined $10k and 25 drivers/owners points. If penalized, it would be announced on Tuesday.(7-29-2007)
UPDATE: Tony Stewart, excited over winning at the track he cherishes more than any other, got a little carried away in his postrace interview. The expletive he uttered could cost him a penalty later this week. Stewart was celebrating his second win the Allstate 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway Sunday when he uttered the obscenity on ESPN. While NASCAR officials would later say they thought there was a network delay protecting the driver, ESPN officials said delays are only used on replays of radio conversations, not live victory lane interviews. "It was an unfortunate incident that we did not anticipate," said ESPN officials in a statement. NASCAR officials said they will address the issue at the beginning of the week. Vice President Jim Hunter said there could be a penalty or a loss of points. He also said that NASCAR would talk to ESPN officials.(SceneDaily.com)(7-30-2007)

Thats one of the things I like about him. He says what he's thinking sometimes it gets him into trouble(like now) but I like it.
So you like "tactless" Tony, huh? There are ways to say BS without actually saying it! If "Tubby" would take a nanosecond to think about what he is saying he would be a tad wealthier and have more points to work with, not to mention higher in NASCARs' graces, lol!.

Tubby eh? Nice
Perhaps if you look at it from another angle. I submit Tony doesn't concern himself with money, nor being in NASCAR's good graces one bit. Considering that then... how do you feel about the way he conducts himself in the heat of the adrenaline filled aftermath of a race?
